Two of the stations of the newly inaugurated Metro Line 4 of Budapest won an international competition. The Szent Gellért tér station and the Fővám tér station got the first place on an international architecture contest called Architizer A+ Awards. There were 2 first prizes in each category, one given by the audience and another one given by the jury; the Metro Line 4 won both. The metro stations got the prize overtaking several competitors, including Swiss and American ones. They won the prize firstly because of the special visible concrete elements used at the construction of the stations. Besides the bus and train stations category several other categories were included, such as small, medium size and large offices, office interiors, commercial properties, temporary facilities, hotels, restaurants and bars.

The Best Offices
In the small (less than 4 stories) offices category the winner chosen by the audience was a Finnish building, the new office of Arctia Shipping, and the other winner chosen by the jury was an extraordinary-shaped Shanghai office.
