East Gate Business Park won a HUF 272 million EU subsidy, thus the GE Oil and Gas department situated in the industrial park gets a new, 11-thousand-square-meter hall. The project can be ready by September 2014.
East Gate Business Park won a HUF 272 million EU subsidy within the confines of the Central Hungarian Operative Program of the New Széchenyi Plan. Thus the GE Oil and Gas department situated in the industrial park gets a new, 11 thousand square meter large manufacturing technology area. The new hall will be home for the central control unit of the gas and steam turbine-engined electronic power plants, offices and storages. Thanks to the investment the GE Oil and Gas department will have a total 17500 square meter area. The project can be ready by September 2014. The plans will be made by Aspectus Architect, the construction by Market Építő, and the bank that covers the costs is Unicredit. The aim of the project is to develop the infrastructure and the services, and thus to make the park a more favorable investment.
International Companies' National Centers Operate in the Park
The industrial park is located in Fót, Akácos, at the junction of the M3 and M0 motorways, along Régi Fóti út. The park was opened in 2005. The 78-thousand-square-meter hall of East Gate Business Park stands on a 36-ha area. The park is located 15 minutes from the city centre of Budapest, and has a direct connection to the M0 motorway. The industrial park located a few minutes from the Megyeri Bridge can be approached by coach and a charter bus. The developer of the building is WING. Besides East Gate Business Park the Hungarian property company's portfolio includes the Millenáris Office Centers, the Átrium Park, the Agria Park in Eger and the South Pest Business Park. Besides GE the park is home for the national or regional centers of several international companies such as Philip Morris, ABB, Rexel or Lear.
